Additional Real Estate Tax Bills are due on April 1, 2018. Last day for payment without interest is May 1, 2018.

IMPORTANT! For those who escrow taxes, your bank/mortgage company should have received your bill. Before the end of the month, monitor http://town.ledyard.ct.us/601/Online-Bill-Pay to verify your tax bill has been paid. Click on "Pay Your Bills online" and search for yours. The bill is called "additional real estate". If your bill has not been paid, you should contact your bank/mortgage company.  Here is why this is so important. If your bill goes unpaid, even due to an error by your bank, there will be a penalty. State statute does not allow the town to waive the penalty FOR ANY REASON.
