Garbage Collection
Ledyard provides curbside collection of household garbage and recyclables. Sterling Superior Services is the Town's contractor for these services. Additional information is available on the Curbside Collection page, by calling Sterling Superior Services at 860-887-8352, or by going to the Sterling Superior Services homepage.

Please note:
  • To see your collection day, view the Garbage Collection Schedule
  • Be sure to have your garbage and recycling at curbside no later than 7:00 am

Bulky Waste Pick-Up
Ledyard offers two (2) bulky waste pick-ups per calendar year on an on-call basis. Additional information regarding bulky waste pick-up guidelines is available on the Bulky Waste page.

Transfer Station
Ledyard also operates a transfer station geared toward residential users. The transfer station receives acceptable waste from Ledyard properties only. Specific information on services at the Transfer Station is available on the Transfer Station page.
